MRS. ELMER J. OEHLER
Mrs. Elmer J. Oehler, 80, nee Marion Nathene White of San Antonio and formerly of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jan Unger officiating.
Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation was held Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Oehler was born Nov. 8, 1934, in Gillespie County, the daughter of Nathan White and Fannie Garret White. She married Elmer J. Oehler on May 9, 1953, in Gillespie County and he survives.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Oehler is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Santiago Rivera, of New Braunfels; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Peggy June Wendrock and Donna Gail Oehler; one son, Darrell James Oehler; and three sisters, Dorothy Kozelsky, Peggy Hahne and Violet Smith.
Pallbearers included Sean Wohlfahrt, Troy Williamson, Santiago Rivera, Larry Fritz, Rocky Wendrock and Rocky Wendrock II.
