Mrs. John Joseph O’Connor Jr.

Mrs. John Joseph O’Connor Jr., 70, nee Betty Brake of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Nov. 15, at Sozial Haus, 107 S. Llano St., from 2-4 p.m..

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Mrs. O’Connor was born Jan. 25, 1945, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of James Luther Brake and Argress Sammons Brake. She married John Joseph O’Connor on Jan. 29, 1966, in Macon, Georgia. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Trey O’Connor, of Fredericksburg; one daughter, Kimberly O’Connor of Austin; two grandchildren, and one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Phil Marney, of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.
