Anthony William (Tony) Craven

Anthony William (Tony) Craven, 51, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Fredericksburg, Funeral Home with the Rev. Casey Zesch officiating.

Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation was held Friday evening, Jan. 24, at the funeral chapel.

Craven was born March 11, 1962, in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Paul William and Pat Craven.

He served in the United States Air Force before going to work in the grocery business. He had been employed by HEB for 15 years.

Craven is survived by his mother and step-father, Pat and Dave Laughlin, of Fredericksburg; his father and step-mother, Paul William and Linda Craven of Burlington, Iowa, and brother, Rob Craven of Dallas.

He is also survived by three step-sisters and spouses, including Deanna and Jim Buckholz of Redlands, Calif.; Tammy and Jim Boysen of Austin, and Angie Barnes of Spring Branch.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, the American Cancer Society or Laity Lodge Foundation.

Pallbearers were employees of HEB.
