Robert Lee Cummings, 101, of Fredericksburg, died Friday, March 18, 2016.
Graveside services and interment were held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 23, at the Davilla Cemetery with the Rev. Paulette Magnuson officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
Cummings was born Aug. 2, 1914, in Tracey, the son of Louis Dean Cummings and Zettie Rosalie Newman Cummings. He married Ruth Allyne Faulkner who preceded him in death.
Cummings is survived by one daughter, one son and spouses, Joanne and Bob Spencer of Fredericksburg and Robert and Mary Ann Cummings of Winnsboro.
Survivors also include six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Snookie Hickman of Round Rock.
In addition to his wife and parents, Cummings was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Ruth Cummings and 10 siblings.
Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.
