Royce William Steubing

Royce William Steubing, 67, of Sisterdale died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015.

A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at The Marquardt Ranch, 238 Marquardt Road.

Schaetter Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Steubing was born Jan. 5, 1948, in San Antonio, the son of Elton Steubing and Augusta Bippert Steubing. He married Dolores Marquardt on Sept. 6, 1969, in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Comfort, and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Steubing is survived by two daughters, one son and spouses, Kendra and Tom Wren of Kerrville, Kerri and Chad Carpenter of Sisterdale and Dru and Jessica Steubing of Boerne.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and one brother, Carlton Steubing of Colorado.

Memorials may be made to the Josiah Venture, Children’s Relief International, local fire departments or charity of choice.
