Frances June Green

Frances June Green, 86, nee Phillips, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 17, at the Family Chapel in Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Lefan officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home where visitation was held Thursday evening, April 16.

Mrs. Green was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Gotebo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Faye Phillips and Mettie Dilbeck Phillips. She married Jim Green in 1955. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter, including Jim Green and his wife, Wilma, of Houston; Yvonne Bowden, Willow City, and Jeff Green, Hondo.

Survivors also include three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Green was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.
