Vivienne C. Jones, 86, nee Duncan, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014.
A funeral mass was celebrated at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Msgr. Enda McKenna officiating. Mary Ann Murchison was the pianist, and Donna Jackson, the vocalist.
A rosary service was held beforehand.
Interment followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones was born Aug. 29, 1928, in Waterville, Maine, the daughter of James and Helene Duncan. She married Albert M. Jones on April 2, 1951, and he survives.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jones is survived by two daughters, Mary Fluckey and her husband, Bruce, and Carolyn Lind.
Survivors also include six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a sister, Joy Noble.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, as well as a son, Alan Michael Jones.
Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice.
Pallbearers included Bruce Fluckey, Adam Fluckey, Matthew Fluckey, Michael Lind and Damian Jones.
