Philip Dyer

Philip Dyer, 55, of Fredericksburg and formerly of Blanco, died Monday, July 14, 2014.

Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Private interment of the ashes is planned.

Dyer was born Sept. 10, 1958, in Renton, Washington, the son of John and Mary Dyer.

Prior to moving to the Texas Hill Country, he was a computer programmer and spent the majority of his life in the Pacific Northwest.

After working at CJ’s and Stripes in the Blanco area, Dyer took a job at Ace in Johnson City.

He is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, including Richard and JoAnn Dyer, Stephen and Linda Dyer and Alan and Kimberly Dyer.

Dyer’s parents preceded him in death.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.
