Mrs. Claude Gray Jr.

Mrs. Claude Gray Jr., 85, the former Eula Marie Chappell Perrault, of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

Memorial services were held Saturday, June 21, at 2 p.m. at Hill Country Evangelical Free Church with the Rev. John Hierholzer officiating.

Visitation was held beforehand.

Graveside services and interment of her cremains will take place at a later date.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gray was born Sept. 17, 1928, in Arp, the daughter of Joe Oscar Chappell and Ada Ann Delia Driver Chappell. She married Joseph F. Perrault Jr. and Claude H. Gray Jr., both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Jackie Marie Perrault and her husband, Charles Zambrano of Dripping Springs, and one son, Joseph Wayne Perrault of Universal City.

Survivors also include two step-grandchildren; one brother, Harvey Chappell, and four sisters, including Faye Walker, Thelma Towne, Jane Murphy and Ann Ayers.

In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Holloman, and a brother, C.T. Chappell.

Memorials may be made to the Golden Hub Community Center, Die Künstler von Fredericksburg (The Artists of Fredericksburg) or Hill Country Memorial Hospice.
