BARBARA MEYER
Mrs. Charles Meyer, 68, nee Barbara Ann Pehl of Fredericksburg, died Monday, June 16, 2014.
A memorial service was held Thursday, June 19, at 11 a.m. at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Priem officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home where visitation was held Wednesday evening, June 18.
Mrs. Meyer was born Dec. 2, 1945, in the Luckenbach community, the daughter of Werner Pehl and Agnes Jenschke Pehl. She married Charles Meyer on Feb. 13, 1971, at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church and he survives.
For over 20 years, she was the District Clerk for Gillespie County.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Meyer is survived by three daughters and spouses, including Lori and Bryan Herbort and Deanne and Darrell Moellering, all of Fredericksburg, and Pamela Meyer of San Antonio, and six grandchildren.
Survivors also include a brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Jackie Pehl, and a sister, Kay Pressler, all of Fredericksburg.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Council.
