Mrs. Raymond Keyser

Mrs. Raymond Keyser, 94, nee Crystle Fikes of Mason, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, in Fredericksburg.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 18, at 11 a.m. at Mason Funeral Home in Mason with the Rev. Scott Hofmann officiating. Marilyn Kahan was the organist.

Visitation was held beforehand.

Interment followed in the Loyal Valley Cemetery.

Mrs. Keyser was born May 17, 1919, in Mason County, the daughter of John Fikes and Ethel Chandler Fikes. She married Raymond Herman Keyser on May 10, 1940, in Mason. He preceded her in death in 1984.

A Mason High School graduate, Mrs. Keyser was a member of First Baptist Church in Mason where she taught Sunday School and participated in church activities.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Priscilla and Bill Martin of Mason, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Keyser was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Campbell.

Memorials may be made to the Loyal Valley Cemetery Association in care of Mason National Bank.
