KATHLEEN BOHLS RADER
Kathleen Augusta Louie Rader, 80, nee Bohls, of Fredericksburg, died Monday, April 7, 2014, at Knopp Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 11, at 10 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church with the Reverends Casey Zesch and Travis Meier officiating. Marjorie Ottmers was the organist.
Interment followed in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation was held Thursday evening and Friday morning.
Mrs. Rader was born Nov. 24, 1933, in Austin, the daughter of Beth Boyce (B.B.) Bohls and Lydia Lindig Bohls.
She is survived by one daughter, two sons and spouses, including Terry and Patsy Reson, Craig Reson and Lisa and Myron Welgehausen, all of Fredericksburg.
She is also survived by three grandchildren and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Barbara Bohls of Taylor and John Mark and Lou Bohls of North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rader was preceded in death by two husbands, Kenneth (Buddy) Holdforth and E.J. Rader, and one sister, Carolyn Love.
Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers included Craig Reson, Terry Reson, Myron Welgehausen and Adam Reson. Jack Bohls was an honorary pallbearer.
