Ronald Glen Elliott, 76, of Stonewall, died Saturday, March 22, 2014.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 24, at 4 p.m. at the Stonewall Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Welch officiating. Visitation was held beforehand.
Interment followed in the Stonewall Community Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.
Elliott was born Feb. 14, 1938, in Beaumont, the son of Fred P. Elliott and Constance Hill Elliott. He married Diana McAdams on Oct. 14, 1989, in Romayor, and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Elliott is survived by one daughter, three sons and spouses, including Donna Kay and Charles White, and Jerry Glen Elliott, all of Bryan; Robert Glen and Dottie Elliott of Dayton and Ronald Glen and Crystal Elliott Jr. of Summerville; and a step-son and spouse, Justin Wayne and Donna Cole of San Antonio.
Survivors also include 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a sister, Adalee Elliott Ludlow of Carthage.
Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two brothers, Fred P. Elliott Jr. and Curtis R. Elliott.
Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers included William Arnold Foster, Charles White Jr., Stephen White, Dominic Elliott, Roger Simons and Bubba Elliott.
