FRANCIS LANGEHENNIG

Francis T. (F.T., Ham, Eddie) Langehennig, 76, of Spicewood, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in Leander.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Dec. 18, in Marble Falls with the Reverends Danielle Casey and Harold Vanicek officiating.

Langehennig was born Aug. 22, 1937, in Fredericksburg, the son of Erhardt Langehennig and Mary Staudt Langehennig. He married Mary Jane Molder on Nov. 26, 1969, in Austin and she survives.

He worked as a mechanic the majority of his life.

In addition to his wife, Langehennig is survived by two daughters, including Kristie Chatham of Leander and Kitt Scharf and her husband, Greg, of Round Rock, and four grandchildren.

He is also survived by his oldest sister, Pauline Patranella of Fredericksburg.

Langehennig was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Margaret Peck and Rosie Weinheimer; and two brothers, A.J. Langehennig and Robert Langehennig.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Krista Kae Vollmar Scholarship Fund.

Arrangements were under the direction of Affordable Burial and Cremation of Austin.
