Jay Robert Knierim, 80, of Fredericksburg, died Monday, May 9, 2016, at Windcrest Nursing and Rehab.
Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.
Knierim was born April 13, 1936, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Robert D. Knierim and Gladys Sontag Knierim.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University of Ohio and his master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University.
