Mrs. Kenneth Edwards (Ken) Smith

Mrs. Kenneth Edwards (Ken) Smith, 76, nee Pearl Ann Burleson of Fredericksburg, died Monday, April 18, 2016.

Visitation was held Tuesday evening, April 26, in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday, May 6, at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston.

Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 30, 1939, in Menard County, the daughter of Willie Burleson and Lela Wilma Woolf Burleson. She married Kenneth Edwards (Ken) Smith on Dec. 23, 1961, in San Angelo, and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Melody Smith of Galveston and Trudi Smith of Houston, and one brother, Henry Bert Burleson of Winters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and two brothers, Willie Jean Burleson, Wilma Jane Jacoby and Earl Burleson.
