
MRS. ELGIN HEIMANN
Mrs. Elgin Heimann, 93, nee Norma Pearl Kissel, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at Knopp Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bobby Vitek officiating.
Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation was held Monday evening, Dec. 28, and Tuesday morning, Dec. 29.
Mrs. Heimann was born March 18, 1922, in Gillespie County, the daughter of Harold Kissel and Ella Kordzik Kissel. She married Elgin Heimann on May 14, 1938, in Boerne. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1995.
She is survived by six daughters and spouses, including Patsy and Cliff Hahne, Jeannie and Temple Klett and Ginger Heimann, all of Fredericksburg; La Verne and Reid Houy, Katy; Carol Sue and Gary Bruehler, Fair Oaks, and Janice and Donald Mansfield, Katy.
Survivors also include 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Lola and Bill Lozano of San Antonio, and three sisters-in-law, Olie, Mrs. Marvin Heimann, and Delphine, Mrs. Felix Mueller Jr., both of Fredericksburg, and Dee, Mrs. R.N. (Buddy) Nuckolls of Austin.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Heimann was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Kissel and R.N. (Buddy) Nuckolls.
Memorials may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg EMS or to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers included Bradley Hahne, Bob Klett, John Houy, Nicholas Houy, Michael Houy, Charles Elgin, Chip Smith and Eric Cornehl.
