Joan L. Watson

Joan L. Watson, 71, nee Lafitte, of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Burdick officiating.

Visitation was held beforehand.

Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Watson was born Nov. 12, 1944, in Joaquin, the daughter of Jessie A. Lafitte and Bonnie B. Richardson Lafitte. She married Fred Watson in November 1965. He preceded her in death.
