Mrs. Carlton Eckert

Mrs. Carlton Eckert, 73, nee Lois Kay Willmann, of Fredericksburg, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24, at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Priem officiating.

Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eckert was born Nov. 29, 1941, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Clifford Willmann and Helen Itz Willmann. She married Carlton Eckert on June 17, 1961, in Mason and he survives.

For many years, she worked as a bookkeeper for Langerhans Nursery.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Eckert is survived by two daughters, Stacey Eckert of Houston and Teri Eckert-Cox and her husband, Mark, of Denton; and three grandchildren.

She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Myrtle Eckert of Fredericksburg, and a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Dian Willmann of Mason.

Mrs. Eckert was preceded in death by her parents and a sister who died in infancy.

Memorials may be made to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Building Fund, Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.
