Mark Edward Gold

Mark Edward Gold, 63, of Willow City, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home with Deacon Pat Klein officiating.

Interment followed in the Willow City Cemetery.

Visitation was held Friday evening, Oct. 9, at the funeral chapel.

Gold was born Jan. 14, 1952, in Fredericksburg, the son of Roland Edward Gold and Christine Connally Gold. He married Eileen Schmidt on April 6, 1974, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Gold is survived by one son and two daughters, including John Gold and Angela Gold, both of Fredericksburg, and Tami Bostick and her husband, Bobby, of Colorado.

Survivors also include five grandchildren and one brother, Gerald Gold of Wyoming.

Gold was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Willow City Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, Willow City Cemetery Association or to the charity of choice.
