Randall Conway (Randy) Burkey, 91, of Doss and formerly of San Antonio, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015.
Arrangements are under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 12, from 5-7 p.m., and Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 7 a.m.-noon.
The body will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Doss where the funeral will begin at 2 p.m.
Graveside services with military honors and interment will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Doss Volunteer Fire Department, the Wounded Warriors or to the charity of choice.
MARY JEANETTE (JEAN) BIRT
Mary Jeanette (Jean) Birt, 89, of Harper, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, in Houston.
Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, Oct. 16, at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Harper. Viewing begins at 3:30 p.m., and the graveside services begin at 4 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Harper United Methodist Church.

Dennis Lee Grobe, 70, of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015.
A vigil and rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 4-7 p.m., in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home, and on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 9:15-10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 15, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Graveside services and interment of the cremains will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Beck Kuebel Cemetery on FM 1888 in Blanco County.
