
LAVERNE PARKER
Laverne Parker, 96, nee Bode, of Harper, died Monday, April 13, 2015.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 17, at Lighthouse Fellowship Chapel in Harper with the Rev. James Engelmann officiating.
Interment followed at the Noxville Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home where visitation was held Thursday evening.
Mrs. Parker was born Nov. 6, 1918, in Gillespie County, the daughter of Oscar Bode and Ethel McDonald Bode. She married J.H. (Son) Parker who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Parker is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Levi Ellebracht of Fredericksburg; one grandson, four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by one sister, Hallis Parker, and three brothers, Leo Bode, Cecil Bode and Floy Bode.
Memorials may be made to Lighthouse Fellowship Chapel or the Noxville Cemetery.
Pallbearers included James Ellebracht, Jeff Perry, David Dieter, Buzzy Parker, Ronald Bode, Frank Ornelas, Owen Ellebracht and Derringer Fritz.
