Anna B. Forrester

Anna B. Forrester, 92, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Fredericksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Arrangements were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home where visitation was held Saturday afternoon, April 4.

Graveside services and interment were held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 6, at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, with her two sons officiating.

Mrs. Forrester was born Aug. 25, 1922, in Hobart, Oklahoma, the daughter of Doris Ray Bowman and Anna Kate Bowman. She married Herman Forrester on June 9, 1940, in Houston. He preceded her in death in 1995.

Mrs. Forrester was a secretary for the Houston Independent School District, and after spending most of her life in Houston, she and her husband retired to Trinity. Following his death, she moved to Fredericksburg.

Mrs. Forrester is survived by two sons, Ron Forrester of Austin, and Joe Forrester and his wife, Susan, of Summit, New Jersey, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
