Mrs. Kenneth Raymond

Mrs. Kenneth Raymond, 94, nee Hazel Irma Barnett of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Fredericksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, at Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ann Hoch officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Raymond was born July 11, 1920, in Deweyville, the daughter of William Charlie Barnett and Rosa Cranford Barnett. She married Kenneth Raymond on Aug. 20, 1959, in Lubbock, and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Raymond is survived by two sons, OJ (Jerry) Hanna of Brownwood and John and Sherry Hanna of Fredericksburg.

Survivors also include three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Edna, Mrs. Gordon Raymond, and a sister-in-law and spouse, Carol and Leo Neis, all of Wisconsin.

Mrs. Raymond was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Jerry Hanna Jr.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.
