Funeral service announcements

Information on funerals that occur after March 25 will appear under this heading.

PATRICIA ANN THIELE

Patricia Ann Thiele, 73, of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Knopp Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, from 5-7 p.m., and Wednesday, April 1, from 7:30-9:45 a.m.

A vigil service will be held Tuesday, March 31, at 6 p.m., at the funeral chapel.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with interment following at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Parish Capital Campaign, Hill Country Community Needs Council or to the charity of choice.

 

MRS. HENRY BECKMANN

Mrs. Henry Beckmann, 93, nee Lottie Stehling, of Stonewall, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Fredericksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation will be held Wednesday, April 1, from 5-7 p.m., and Thursday, April 2, from 7-9:45 a.m.

A rosary service will begin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, at the funeral chapel.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 2, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with entombment following at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to the Stonewall Volunteer Fire Department, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.

 

MRS. GEORGE GREENE

Mrs. George Greene, 80, nee Margot Gordon of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, March 29, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, in the funeral chapel.

Private graveside services and interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospital or to the charity of choice.
