Lois Mae Christman

Lois Mae Christman, 82, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Casey Zesch officiating.

Mrs. Christman was born Jan. 10, 1932, in Bokoshe, Oklahoma, the daughter of Marion Altstatt and Effie Mae David Altstatt. She married Lawrence (Larry) Christman who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Christman is survived by four daughters and spouses, including Cathy and Al Higgins of Troy, New York; Carol and Jonathan Baethge of Fredericksburg; Angela Elaine Bachler of Phoenix, Arizona, and Shirley Adonna and Randy Johnson of Panaca, Nevada.

Survivors also include eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Christman was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Paul Christman and Michael Christman, and five siblings: Marion Altstatt, Harold Altstatt, Frankie Altstatt, Virginia Schilliger and Pauline Shay.
