Mrs. Noel D. Permenter

Mrs. Noel D. Permenter, 77, nee Elizabeth Anne (Betty) Lange of Manor, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 22, in the Smith Chapel at Riverbend Church, 4214 N. Capital of Texas Hwy., Austin.

Mrs. Permenter was born July 20, 1937, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Rudy Lange and Edna Ellebracht Lange. She married Noel D. Permenter on Sept. 8, 1955, and he survives.

She retired from Southwestern Bell in 1991 after 25 years of service.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Permenter is survived by three daughters, two sons and spouses, including Della Maxson, of Pflugerville; Noel Permenter Jr., Lago Vista; Lynda and Tim Smith, Pflugerville; James and Judith Permenter, Round Rock, and Sandra Ridings, Austin.

Survivors also include nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

She is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Jack Straube of Doss and James Permenter of El Paso.

Mrs. Permenter was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Rose Marie Straube, and one granddaughter, Sherry Stanley.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, the American Heart Association or Riverbend Church.
