Mrs. Robert A. Grinslade

Mrs. Robert A. Grinslade, 66, nee Gail Jean Byrd of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014.

Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Private family services will be held.

Mrs. Grinslade was born Sept. 6, 1948, in Maywood, California, the daughter of Dale Byrd and Phyllis Owen Byrd. She married Robert A. Grinslade on Aug. 29, 1970, in Westminster, California, and he survives.

She worked as a court clerk in Gillespie County.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Grinslade is survived by two daughters, Dena Martinez and Lisa Garcia; three grandchildren, and her mother, Phyllis Byrd.

She preceded in death by her father, Dale Byrd.
