Eddie J. Heimann, 81, of Garland, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014.
Graveside services and interment were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Rockwall with the Rev. Gordon Illausky officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Rest Haven Funeral Home of Rockwall.
Heimann was born Aug. 1, 1933, in Fredericksburg, the son of Edgar John Heimann and Veda Elizabeth Woodward Heimann. His wife, Jane, preceded him in death.
He was a United States Army veteran and was a truck driver.
Heimann is survived by two daughters, Mary Skoritowski and her husband, Edward, and Debra Heimann; and two sons, Jimmy Heimann and David Heimann and his wife, Lisa.
Survivors also include 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a brother, Wayne Heimann, and a sister, RoseEllen Johnson.
In addition to his wife and parents, Heimann was preceded in death by a son, Eddie J. Heimann II.
