Robert W. (Bob) Langehennig, 92, of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 15, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home with the Reverends Alan Williams and Pam Traver officiating.
Interment followed at Der Stadt Friedhof.
Visitation was held Thursday evening and Friday morning at the funeral chapel.
Langehennig was born June 20, 1922, in Fredericksburg, the son of Alanzo Langehennig and Alma Lina Hohmann Langehennig. He married Helen Pehl on Sept. 18, 1950, at St. Mary’s Rectory, and she survives.
He was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, worked as a farmer, rancher, rodeo cowboy, calf roper and raised hunting dogs.
In addition to his wife, Langehennig is survived by a brother, Walter Langehennig of Bandera.
Langehennig’s parents preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Holy Ghost Lutheran Church or to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers included Bobby Clark, Homer Langehennig, Rick Banning, Jay Perry, Harvey Klein, Billy Pehl and Don Westfall.
