Mrs. William Cosper

Mrs. William Cosper, 85, nee Helen Kramer, of Louisiana and formerly of Harper, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014.

A funeral mass was celebrated Tuesday, July 1, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harper with the Rev. Martin Garcia-Avila officiating.

Interment followed in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation and a vigil service were held Monday evening, June 30.

Mrs. Cosper was born Sept. 24, 1928, in Gillespie County, the daughter of Alfred Kramer and Katie Fiedler Kramer. She married William Thomas Cosper who preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 2004.

Survivors include a daughter, Janice Phillips, and a daughter-in-law, Mary Alice, Mrs. Sammy Cosper Sr., both of Louisiana.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a sister, Margaret Bridges of Kerrville.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cosper was preceded in death by a son, Sammy Cosper Sr.
