Bobby Gene Lee

Bobby Gene Lee, 76, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, June 26, 2014.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 1, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home with the Rev. William Carlson officiating.

Visitation was held Tuesday morning at the funeral chapel.

Graveside services, with military honors, and interment were held Wednesday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at the Tira Cemetery in Tira.

Lee was born Oct. 8, 1937, in Hopkins County, the son of David Boyd Lee and Kathrine Patterson Lee. He married Rosemarie Schleicher at First United Methodist Church in New Braunfels, and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Lee is survived by two sons, two daughters and spouses, including Kevin Lee and Randall and Jennifer Lee, all of San Antonio; Susan and David Karger of Colorado, and Diana and Joseph Clayburne of New Braunfels.

Survivors also include seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by two sisters, two brothers and spouses, including Nell and Bill Crowson, of Sulphur Springs; Margaret Fletcher, Fort Worth; Don and Vickie Lee, Colleyville, and David Lee, Dallas.
