Louis Otto Dietrich Jr.

Louis Otto Dietrich Jr., 60, of Harper, died Sunday, June 22, 2014.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church with the Rev. Casey Zesch officiating.

Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation was held Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

Dietrich was born Dec. 17, 1953, in Fredericksburg, the son of Louis Dietrich Sr. and Marie Klaerner Dietrich. He married Debbie Jenschke on March 21, 1986, in Fredericksburg. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include his father, Louis Dietrich Sr. of Harper; three step-children, including Lionel Jenschke of South Carolina,            Justin Klein of Fredericksburg and Chassidy Light of Louisiana; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dietrich is also survived by five sisters, one brother and spouses, including Darlene and Don Spencer, Sherry Dixon, Sandra and Lee Bodenhamer and Glen Dietrich, all of Fredericksburg; Debbie Page of Johnson City, and Becky Dietrich of Harper.

In addition to his wife, Dietrich was preceded in death by his mother and a brother-in-law, Dean Dixon.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or to the charity of choice.

Pallbearers included Jason Whitehead, Cody Goff, Zane Beckmann, Shannon Beckmann, Adam Page and Jeffrey Puckett.

Honorary pallbearers were James Bodenhamer and Demetra Wenzel.
