David Don Biermann, 80, of Comfort, died Friday, May 27, 2016.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 3, at Comfort Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Holt officiating.
Interment followed in the Comfort Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home of Comfort where visitation was held Thursday evening and Friday morning.
Biermann was born Jan. 9, 1936, in Kerr County, the son of Kurt Biermann and Dora Rausch Biermann. He married Jo Ellen Becker on March 24, 1956, at Gaddis Memorial Methodist Church, Comfort, and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Biermann is survived by one son, one daughter and spouses, Don and Jeanna Biermann and Karen and Jon Letz, all of Comfort, and four grandchildren.
Survivors also include two sisters and spouses, Lana and Bob Fournier of Kingsland and Marlene and Bill Marks of Austin.
Memorials may be made to the Comfort Cemetery Association, Comfort Volunteer Fire Department or to the charity of choice.
