Frances Elizabeth (Pat) Libecap, 104, of Fredericksburg, died Monday, May 23, 2016.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 27, at the Sonday House Fellowship on Texas 16 South, with the Rev. John Hierholzer officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
Mrs. Libecap was born May 15, 1912, in Cleveland, Tennessee, the daughter of Patrick Henry Jones and Margaret Eldridge Jones. She married Charles Emory Libecap on Sept. 10, 1940.
She was an artist and began her career after attending commercial school for a year in Washington, D.C. She then worked for a photography studio, tinting pictures.
Mrs. Libecap is survived by one son, Karl S. Libecap of Dayton, Ohio; one grandson, and one sister, Carlene Adams of Johnson City, Tennessee.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Libecap was preceded in death by one sister, Nell Margaret McLean, and two brothers, Jack William Shugart and Patrick Eldridge Jones who died in infancy.
