Betty Heeson Weinhold, 86, of Houston, died Friday, May 13, 2016.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at Trinity Downtown Lutheran Church, Houston.
Mrs. Weinhold was born Dec. 8, 1929, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Edward Heeson and Ella Wehmeyer Heeson. She married David R. Weinhold on May 17, 1952, and he survives.
She and her family moved to Houston in her early teens where she attended Sam Houston High School, and became a member of Trinity Downtown Lutheran Church.
She worked for Humble Oil Company for several years after high school, then finished her working career at Woodrow Webb, CPA.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Weinhold is survived by one son, David B. Weinhold, and three grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.
