Kyara Gabriella Galindo, 20, of Fredericksburg, died Friday, April 22, 2016, at Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Msgr. Enda McKenna and Deacon Francisco De La Torre officiating. Mary Ann Murchison was the pianist, and Danielle Ortiz, the vocalist.
Interment followed in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation was held Monday evening and Tuesday morning.
A vigil and rosary service, led by Deacon De La Torre was held Monday evening.
Miss Galindo was born in Fredericksburg on Dec. 26, 1995, the daughter of Gabriel Galindo and Socorro Barrera Galindo.
She was a 2014 graduate of Fredericksburg High School.
Survivors include her parents and one brother, Dylan Rene Galindo of Fredericksburg.
Memorials may be made to cancer research.
Pallbearers included Eric Bopp, Alex Bopp, Tony Salcido, Manuel Galindo, Brice Evans and James Perez.
