Clifford L. Hahne

Clifford L. Hahne, 79, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Kindred Hospital in San Antonio.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Priem officiating.

Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation was held Wednesday evening, April 27.

Hahne was born Sept. 4, 1936, in Gillespie County, the son of Elbert Hahne and Vera Lorenz Hahne. He married Patsy Heimann on Feb. 15, 1958, at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Hahne is survived by two children and spouses, Bradley and Jan Hahne and Lizette and Stephen Fiedler, all of Fredericksburg, and two grandchildren.

He is also survived by five sisters-in-law and spouses.

Hahne’s parents preceded him in death.

Memorials may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg EMS, Fredericksburg Jaycees or to the charity of choice.

Pallbearers included Gary Bruehler, Donald Reichenau, Donald Mansfield, Brian Peters, Earl James Knopp, Richard Neffendorf III and Ronny Wagner.
