Mrs. Willard Dearing

Mrs. Willard Dearing, 76, nee Nancy Ellen Marquardt, of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, at Fredericksburg Baptist Church, 104 Pyka Road, with the Reverends Elliott Pancoast and Travis Meier officiating.

Mrs. Dearing was born Aug. 17, 1938, in Bloomington, Illinois, the daughter of Herbert Albert Marquardt and Henrietta Marsee Marquardt. She married Willard Dearing on Aug. 27, 1995, in Kenedy and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dearing is survived by two sons, two daughters and spouses, including Michael and Celia Hermes, of Beeville; Steven Hermes, Aransas Pass; Janet and Don Henderson, Conroe, and Lee Ann and James Canter, Portland.

Survivors also include eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two brothers, two sisters and spouses, including Herbert Marquardt, Fern and Ted Mayer, William Marquardt, and Donna and Jack Dearth.

Memorials may be made to Fredericksburg Baptist Church, American Breast Cancer Foundation, Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.

Arrangements were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
